About the Piece
 
There is something incredibly grounding about the raw, silly side of nature. I painted this to capture that spark of humor that usually happens between the "serious" moments. With its wide-eyed expression and wind-swept mane, this horse is all about living out loud and making people smile.
 
Why I Created It
 
My goal as an artist is simple: I want to create work that adds a bit of light to your day. Life can get plenty serious on its own, so I like to lean into the joy. This piece is for the person who appreciates a bit of grit, a lot of heart, and a good laugh.
