We want to create a lasting legacy for the veterans who came before us.

The Mitchell VFW Wall of Honor is a permanent tribute to the men and women who served our country and the families who carry their stories forward. We want their names to be seen, remembered, and passed down for generations to come.

If there is a veteran in your family you would like to honor, we invite you to become part of the Wall of Honor. Their service deserves to be remembered. Their name deserves a place on the wall.

Who would you like to honor?

Tell us about the veteran you’d like to honor in this inquiry form, and we’ll send you an application to have their name included on the wall.

SECTIONS OF THE WALL

The Mitchell VFW Wall of Honor is designed to tell the story of our veterans and the wars they served in. The mural includes dedicated sections for each foreign war, along with tributes to the VFW, all six branches of the U.S. military, and a special message of gratitude to our veterans.

Each veteran’s name will be placed within the section corresponding to the war in which they served, creating a lasting record of the men and women from our communities who answered the call to serve. Together, these sections will create one powerful tribute to their service, sacrifice, and legacy.
